Year(Sweet Rice) Cake with Walnut
Instructions
1. Mix 1) to 4) above;
2. Add 5) and 6) and mix well;
3. Add 7) last and mix;
4. Grease pan or use parchment paper
5. Bake for 325F if directly on pan, or 350F if using parchment paper, for 1 hour. I used 10 inch diameter and 1.5 inch height pie pan.
Ingredients
- 1)1 box of Mochiko(sweet rice flour, prefer Shirakiku brand which could be purchased from Amazon);
- 2)3/4 cup brown sugar;
- 3)1/4 tsp salt;
- 4)1/2 tsp baking soda;
- 5)3 cup or less milk(or coconut milk, whatever milk you prefer);
- 6)1/4 cup butter(or coconut oil which I used);
- 7)1 cup chopped walnut;
