Roasted Cinnamon Pecan
Instructions
1. Mix well all the ingredients except the nuts;
2. Add the nuts to the mixture from step 1 and mix very well(make sure each nut gets some coating);
3. Cut parchment paper to fit in the baking pan;
4. Put the coated nuts on the parchment paper and make sure it is spread evenly(try not to overlap);
5. bake at 275F-300F depending on the oven for 10-12mins, then flip over, spread evenly again and bake for another 10-12 mins;
6. Let it cool down completely(for a few hours)before put inside a container;
Notes
I always cut down the sugar by half and reduce the salt amount accordingly as well.
Dark brown sugar will help dark the color of coating which make nuts more tempting.
I am using 11x13 inch baking pan which not all the nuts could fit in one batch, so I do two batches.
This cinnamon pecan is healthy and delicious for snacking and adding to salad.
